Type of plug has a lot to with use and need. I work for a plug manufacturer and we offer plugs for everything and are the OE plug in most VWs for several years...
Platinum is really not that much of a better plug than nickel. Plugs are not not copper tipped they would melt in the first couple cycles... They will last longer but not really make more power in most VW motors. High compression is really where these would help but nothing running pump gas will notice a difference.
Iridium plug design by us and Denso has an advantage because of the fine wire tip. This helps concentrate the spark and leads to a more efficient burn. Are you going to notice a huge difference just by changing to these?? No. Over time you might and any hard driven motor will sure like them more than a nickel plug.
The OE plug is always a good choice but don't discount an upgrade because VAG does not choose it. I know for sure that a copper plug was put in some motors just so the car would return to the dealership for its maintenance while it was still under warranty instead of going to an independent shop.
In my race car (VR6) I run iridium because the nickel plugs would wear prematurely and did not run as well when the motor is cold. I tried platinum and thought it idle like crap and off idle had a hesitation. That was my own brand and I didn't like them...
On ground electrode design. I never suggest to run more than what the OE designed the motor for. Less is OK if the plug is a step up in design. Multi-ground is often used by engineers to help reduce heat at the plug tip. Reduced heat is not always a good thing when it comes to burning fuel.
VW uses mostly Platinum plugs in the newer stuff. The last VR6 motors are included in that. The R32 is really the only exception. It used an Iridium/Platinum.
Really the answer depends on what you want out of the plug. If you do regular maintenance just use the OE plug. If you drive hard and don't want to worry about premature wear or your car does not run perfect sometimes an upgrade is better.
А ему ничего не будет если я примерно 200 км на этом проехал ?В моторе однозначно замена
